Two agencies can sell the same route, the same entrance ticket and the same lunch. What changes is who walks it with you: whether they can explain why a wall is built the way it is, whether they notice you are struggling with the altitude, and whether they adjust the pace without being asked.
Every guide on our departures is licensed to work in Peru and lives in the region. On the Inca Trail, guiding without a licence is not allowed at all, and the permit system checks it.
Our departures run in Spanish and English, and in Portuguese on request.
