The Sacred Valley VIP is the most complete version of the tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, ideal for those who wish to discover the region's main archaeological and scenic attractions in a single day. Unlike the Traditional Sacred Valley, which visits Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero, this tour also includes the impressive circular terraces of Moray and the iconic Maras Salt Mines, offering a more complete experience of the historical and cultural legacy of the Incas.
This tour is recommended for travelers with limited time who want to make the most of their stay in Cusco, as it allows them to visit the Sacred Valley and the attractions of Maras and Moray in a single day. Although the itinerary has a dynamic pace due to the number of places visited, it is the best alternative for discovering more destinations in less time, accompanied by a professional bilingual guide (Spanish and English) and enjoying a buffet lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Very early, between 06:20 and 06:45 hrs, we will begin the Sacred Valley VIP Tour, one of the most complete tours for discovering the archaeological and cultural treasures of Cusco, Peru. Our first visit will be Chinchero, where we will see its archaeological complex, the colonial church, and an authentic textile interpretation center that preserves ancestral Andean weaving techniques. We will continue to the impressive circular terraces of Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, and afterward visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, made up of more than four thousand salt pools still used by local communities.
After enjoying a delicious buffet lunch in the fertile Sacred Valley of Urubamba, we will visit the imposing Ollantaytambo Fortress, considered the last living Inca town and one of the engineering masterpieces of the Tahuantinsuyo. Finally, we will board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), enjoying an unforgettable ride through mountains, cloud forests and along the Urubamba River, getting ready to visit the most important archaeological jewel of South America the following day.
