The tour begins at the majestic Qorikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun or Golden Enclosure, where you can appreciate the perfect combination of Inca and colonial architecture. Afterward you will visit Sacsayhuamán, Cusco's most important ceremonial complex, famous for its gigantic stone blocks and impressive panoramic views of the city.

Can I take the tour on the same day I arrive in Cusco?
It is not recommended. On your first day in Cusco your body is adjusting to the altitude. Schedule the City Tour for your second or third day for a more enjoyable experience.

What is the Cusco Tourist Ticket (Boleto Turístico)?
The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC) is a pass giving access to the region's main archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, Moray, Chinchero, Pisac, Ollantaytambo and others. It costs approximately S/ 70, 130 depending on the circuit, is purchased separately from the tour, and is required to enter the historic sites.
Can I take photos inside Cusco Cathedral and Qorikancha?
Photography is not permitted inside Cusco Cathedral. At Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), photos are allowed in the gardens and exterior areas. At the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, photography is unrestricted.
What is the difference between the Half-Day City Tour and the Historic Centre Walking Tour?
The Half-Day City Tour includes bus transport and visits four archaeological sites outside Cusco (Sacsayhuamán, Qenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay), plus Qorikancha and the Cathedral, covering more ground in less time. The Historic Centre Walking Tour is done on foot through colonial streets, San Blas, local markets and plazas: slower, more intimate and cultural. Both last 3, 4 hours. If it is your first day in Cusco the Walking Tour is gentler at altitude; for the archaeological sites choose the City Tour.
