This tour begins with hotel pickup, either in the morning (9:00 a.m.) or in the afternoon (1:00 p.m.), heading toward the highlands of Cusco, taking in beautiful Andean landscapes and traditional communities during the ascent. Upon arriving at the Dwelling of the Gods – Apukunaq Tianan, the guide will give an introduction to the Andean worldview and the symbolism of each of the monumental sculptures, works by Cusco artist Michael de Titan carved directly into living rock: the Mountain Apu, the Pachamama, the Puma, the Lord of Time, the Andean Portal, and the Face of the Andes.
You will then have free time to explore the complex, take photographs, and connect with the energy of the place. Finally, we will begin the return to the city of Cusco; the complete visit has an approximate duration of 2 hours and ends by dropping you off at your hotel or in the historic center.
