We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco in the morning and transfer to Huayllacocha, the starting point of the hike. The trail crosses varied and authentic high-Andean landscapes—lagoons, mountains, deep valleys, traditional communities and Pre-Inca and Inca archaeological remains—with natural viewpoints over the Sacred Valley. After approximately 4 to 5 hours of hiking, we arrive at the Huchuy Qosqo archaeological complex, where your guide will explain its main sectors: Inca terraces, ceremonial enclosures, warehouses, aqueducts and residential areas with views over the Lamay Valley.
After the tour, we will enjoy a box-lunch-style lunch surrounded by a majestic landscape. Then we will descend to Lamay, in the Sacred Valley, where transport will be waiting to return to Cusco, arriving in the city at approximately 17:00 hrs, after a full day of approximately 7 hours.
