Itinerary

Day 1: Aymara Route

The tour begins at 08:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Puno to explore some of the most enigmatic places of the Peruvian altiplano. Our first stop will be Chucuito, known as the City of the Royal Treasury Boxes, where we will visit the Inka Uyo (Temple of Fertility), an ancient ceremonial sanctuary of great importance within the Andean worldview. We will also see the Inca sundial and the mysterious Faces of the Inca, before continuing to the Chullpas de Molloco, monumental funerary towers of the Lupaka culture, surrounded by spectacular views of Lake Titicaca.

The experience continues with a visit to the Waru Warus, an extraordinary agricultural system developed by the Pukina culture, considered one of the greatest examples of pre-Inca hydraulic engineering. Afterward we will explore Amaru Muru, also known as the Gate of the Gods, one of the main destinations of mystical tourism in Puno. Finally we will arrive at the historic city of Juli, known as the Little Rome of the Americas, where we will enjoy a typical lunch and visit its emblematic colonial churches before returning to Puno, arriving approximately at 5:00 p.m.
