Superior category options (4-star) are available at additional cost. All hotels include buffet breakfast.

What is the best time to travel?

The best time is May to October (dry season): clear skies over Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Puno, with pleasant daytime temperatures and cold nights. June to August are the most popular months. November to April may bring rain in the highlands, though the landscape is greener. Lima has a stable climate year-round.

What tours and excursions are included?

Included: Lima City Tour, Cusco City Tour (Qorikancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Tambomachay), Sacred Valley (Pisac, lunch, Ollantaytambo), train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Tour (entrance + guide + bus), visit to the floating Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca, and all transfers by private transport.

How many people are in the group?

Our groups have a maximum of 12 to 16 passengers, ensuring personalized attention. If you are traveling as a family or private group (minimum 2 people), we also offer the tour in private mode with greater schedule flexibility at an additional cost. For large groups (+16 people) we can arrange an exclusive program.

What documents do I need for this trip?

A valid passport is needed to enter Peru (most countries do not require a visa for up to 183 days). At Machu Picchu the original passport must be presented to validate the entrance ticket. Always carry your passport throughout the tour. For citizens of Andean Community countries, the national ID is sufficient to enter Peru, but Machu Picchu still requires a passport.

Is travel insurance recommended?

Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical expenses (including altitude evacuation), cancellations, lost luggage, and flight delays. For activities in Cusco and Puno (above 3,400 m) make sure the policy covers high-altitude activities. Check with your local insurance agency.

Can I customize or extend the tour?

Yes, this package is fully customizable. You can add extra nights in any city, include optional excursions like Laguna Humantay, Rainbow Mountain, or Taquile Island on Lake Titicaca, or extend the trip to Bolivia. We also arrange private versions with flexible dates. Contact us for a tailored quote.

A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid 30 days before the start date. Cancellations more than 30 days in advance: full refund minus administrative fees. Between 15-30 days: 50% charge. Less than 15 days: no refund. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, and credit card (commission applies).

What does the Lima - Cusco 8-day package add compared to the 7-day one?

The 7-day package is very complete for most travelers: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in one week. The 8-day package adds an extra day that can be dedicated to visiting Pachacamac (the pre-Inca archaeological complex in Lima), an extra excursion in Cusco (such as Laguna Humantay or the White Christ Viewpoint) or simply a more comfortable pace to enjoy the gastronomy and markets. If you have 8 days available, make the most of them: it is much more comfortable than rushing in 7.
